STL’s environmental policy

STL is committed to good environmental stewardship and aims to reduce the environmental impact of all our business activities. We encourage our staff to consider the environment in all aspects of their work.

STL's green credentials

STL is a carbon neutral supplier, having offset our carbon usage by planting trees in the Oxfordshire countryside with OxTreeGen. STL has also made significant changes to business procedures so that we operate in a more environmental friendly way, including:

• Recycling all waste paper and plastic and composting organic waste
• Changing our engineering vehicle fleet to Volkswagen Bluemotion cars using efficient diesel technology
• Sourcing our electricity supply responsibly
• Supporting the Carbon Trust’s 'Turn it off' scheme for all equipment and lighting in the building
• Introducing paperless billing for all customers 
• Electronic payment
