STL introduces paperless billing for all customers
As of October 2009, all STL customers will receive their bills via email, saving the equivalent each year of 4.3 trees in paper. Customers are sent a pdf of their bill by email that they can look at on the screen raterh than receiving printed itemised bills by post.. The new paperless billing procedure is supported by an online reporting system, whereby customers can analyse their calls and produce reports to help them better manage their business. Brendon Cross, STL’s Managing Director commented, ”We used to use reams and reams of paper every month producing paper bills that usually went straight into a filing cabinet so this is a much more eco friendly solution that has been welcomed by most of our customers. It is yet another major step to help STL meet our environmental objectives.”
