Trees and Renewable Energy

STL plants trees in the UK with OxTreeGen that offsets the carbon used by every GreenMinutes telephone call. Many of our GreenMinutes customers come along to our tree planting days to plant their own trees - to find out the date of the next planting session, please contact us.

With GreenMinutes, you’ll also be contributing towards the Guizhou Hydro Power Project in China and a Wind Power Project in India, similar to the Jamnagar Project with the Carbon Neutral Company. Carbon finance plays a major role in making renewable energy projects commercially viable as well as helping to stimulate local economies, improve health and create work.
 Guizhou Hydro Power Project

The Guizhou project sees the construction of small and medium hydro power stations in remote southwest China to displace electricity produced by fossil fuel power plants.

STL has planted the GreenMinutes Wood of trees to offset the CO2 used in GreenMinutes telephone calls each year. Each tree is managed and protected by OxTreeGen, which ensures the trees have the maximum rate of survival to benefit us for generations to come.
