STL was a finalist in Green Channel Company Award at the recent Comms Business Awards. The judges recognised the contribution that GreenMinutes can make to help organisations with an environmental agenda as well as the efforts that STL makes to promote green solutions internally to achieve their own green objectives.
Brendon Cross, STL’s managing director, is delighted to be a finalist for these awards. “This achievement reflects the success and growth of STL's GreenMinutes over the last year. STL is a carbon neutral company and we have embraced sustainability throughout the business, so being a finalist in the Green Award is recognition of our commitment to the environment.”
STL was also a finalist in the Medium Sized Reseller Award. Brendon commented, “We used our work with Speedy to demonstrate how we can solve communication issues in innovative ways. We provide hosted telephony and high performance data and LAN services to Speedy’s temporary accommodation units on construction sites without using underground cabling and all the calls are made by Speedy customers from their portable offices come under STL’s GreenMinutes initiative.”
