GB Oils has signed up to STL’s GreenMinutes in order to offset the carbon costs of all its telephone calls. With the environment high on the agenda, GB Oils is committed to looking at all aspects of the business to make it as environmentally friendly as possible, and with a busy call centre handling thousands of calls each week they were delighted to be able to green their telephony.
STL calculates the carbon cost of each GreenMinutes phone call made and offsets it using the Carbon Neutral Company to support environmental projects around the world. In addition to having carbon neutral telecommunications, GreenMinutes customers also benefit from a number of free eco features to help them work smarter including paperless billing, teleconferencing, free connection of home workers as well as online billing and paperless payments.
Independent business telephony specialists Kangaroo were called in to advise GB Oils on how they could save costs and meet their carbon neutrality objectives.
